Here is a mathematical pattern: 4 8 10 11 11.5 11.75 etc... What is the formula in terms of n (the number in the sequence (e.g. n=1 would be 4 and n=3 would be 10)) that would link the pattern and allow you to find the nth term? Thanks!

Difference from Term 1 onwards: +4, +2, +1, +0, +0.5, +0.25... = +2^2, +2^1, +2^0, +2^(-1), +2^(-2)... Hence, nth term should be: 4 + 2^(3-n) (ANS)
