what is solution of this second order differential equation y′′+b(x^n)y+a∗y=0? by using y=e^v ,v^'=p ,I obtained the following equation:p^'+p^2=-(b*x.^n+a) What to do now to solve the above equation?

you are solving for the y that satify the 2nd order ODE. General solution of 2nd order ODE means that they are 2 independent parts. For general solution, you should have something like y=A*e^(v_1)+B*e^(v_2). If you are just looking for a solution, anything that you pluging in into the differential equation that satisfy the equation is the solution.
