raghavan: If a probability of horse winning a race is 0.3, What's the probability of horse winning greater than 7 races out of 10 races. I see the answer is 0.16. Assumption is that in any given race, the probability of horse winning is 0.3. That is, it’s independent of this horse winning/losing the other races. I want to know the formula to arrive at this. Example2: If a probability of horse winning a race is 0.44, what is the probability of horse losing greater than 4 races out of 15 races. Answer is 13.67. Example3: If a probability of horse winning a race is 0.1, what is the probability of horse winning exactly 20 races out of 20 races. Answer is 0.00 May i know the formula to arrive this.
